On Android, battery optimization can silently stop Pillo from running in the background. To fix this, go to Settings > Essential Settings > Remove from "Battery Optimization" list and follow the steps to exclude Pillo. This should allow your alarms to fire reliably again.
Go to Settings > Appearance > Reminder type and select Small. This sends your reminders as a regular push notification instead of a full-screen alert. If privacy is a concern, you can also hide the medication name by going to Settings > Preference > Privacy Protection > Hide medication name.
Yes! Go to Settings > Smart Handling > Driving Safety and turn it on. When enabled, Pillo will automatically snooze your medication reminders while it detects you are driving, so they won't pop up over your GPS or navigation apps.
Go to Settings > Ringtone to choose a different sound or voice. To adjust the volume, go to Settings > Volume. If you want to mute it entirely, set the volume to the minimum and tap Save to apply it across all alarms. You can also mute individual alarm times by tapping the volume icon next to each scheduled time on the Today tab.
This can happen when Pillo does not have permission to display over other apps. Go to Settings > Essential Settings and make sure Display over other apps is enabled. This allows the app to handle audio focus correctly without affecting the volume of other apps like YouTube or music players.
Yes! Tap your medication on the Today tab, then go to Schedule and turn on the Set different time for day toggle. From there, you can customize the reminder time for each day individually.
Yes. Go to Settings > Keep dose spacing and turn it on. This will automatically adjust the next reminder based on when you actually took your dose. Keep in mind that this applies to all medications, so you can set exceptions for any medications where you don't want this behavior.
